PUBLIC NOTICE    

Notice is hereby given that the Pierce County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, February 25, 2019 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Pierce County Courthouse Multipurpose Room, 111 W. Court Street, Pierce, Nebraska.  The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comments concerning the amendment of the Pierce County Zoning Regulations to allow for use of pre-existing setbacks.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS  

Sealed bids will be received in the office of the Pierce County Clerk until 9:15 A.M., Monday, March 25, 2019 and opened in the presence of any bidder and considered at that time by the Pierce County Board of Commissioners for the furnishing of certain quantities of gravel, culverts, grader blades, highway road signs and posts.  

All bids must be submitted on the proposal blanks and according to specifications as furnished and available upon request from the Pierce County Clerk’s Office at 111 West Court Street, Room 1, Pierce, NE (402) 329-4225.  

The Pierce County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all formalities.

RESOLUTION #2019 - 3
PIERCE COUNTY, NEBRASKA

WHEREAS, the Pierce County Board of Commissioners directed the County Highway Superintendent to study the use of the county road, 543 Avenue, between Sections 15/16 in Blaine Township in Township 25 North, Range 3 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, Pierce County Nebraska.

WHEREAS, a written report of the use of the road has been completed by the Highway Superintendent and is filed with the County Clerk

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of Pierce County, Nebraska, that a public hearing date be set for Monday, March 11, 2019 at 9:11  A.M. to consider whether or not to vacate or abandon road.  The County Clerk is hereby directed to send copies of this resolution by registered or certified mail to the abutting and adjacent landowners.
